Acronympho
03:48
|

Your LOLs and OMGs just don’t mean that much to me OK
You won’t talk to me, you say you’ll BRB
But that aint in my dictionary no way
You’re an Acronympho
Who needs words anyway
When three little letters
Can say all you've got to say
You say WTF you must think I’m deaf because I have no response to your letter test OH OH
I say I’m sorry and all I get is NP
And it’s IDK when you don’t wanna say no no
You’re an Acronympho
Who needs words anyway
When three little letters
Can say all you've got to say
It’s LMFAO when I tell you a joke, TTYL when you gotta go, it’s so you
If your game is charades then I don’t wanna play
Unless we’re at a party where it’s BYOB, and that’s true
You’re an Acronympho
Who needs words anyway
When three little letters
Can say all you've got to say
I tell your BFF that your life is a mess
It’s STFU and you say that we’re through, boo hoo
This SOB is through with you too
Acronyms proportional to your IQ, so F-U
You’re an Acronympho
Who needs words anyway
When three little letters
Can say all you've got to say

Golden Ticket To Heaven
04:30
|
|||
I’ve been a sinner for most of my life
I’ve made mistakes that I can hardly bare
I’ve gone to church more than several times
But I’m not sure if God really cares
I bought a golden ticket to heaven
Got it from a guy on the street
He said for ninety-nine ninety-nine
God and I would surely meet
You can judge me if you want to
You can laugh but I don’t care
Cause I’ve got my golden ticket to heaven
And I know it’s gonna take me there
As I get older I’m beginning to wonder what
What’s gonna happen to me when I die
But all my worries now seem so far away
And I’ve got myself a pretty good reason why
I bought a golden ticket to heaven
Got it from a guy on the street
He said for ninety-nine ninety-nine
God and I would surely meet
You can judge me if you want to
You can laugh but I don’t care
Cause I’ve got my golden ticket to heaven
And I know it’s gonna take me there
kazoo solo
Death doesn’t have to be so dreaded
Even those who are lost can be found
There’s an easy way to get to heaven
When they’ve put your dead corpse in the ground
I bought a golden ticket to heaven
Got it from a guy on the street
He said for ninety-nine ninety-nine
God and I would surely meet
You can judge me if you want to
You can laugh but I don’t care
Cause I’ve got my golden ticket to heaven
And I know it’s gonna take me there

The Pit
03:01
|
|||
Gonna tell you about this place just south of town
Where two walls of concrete rise up from the ground
Fields of corn are the only thing around
A gravel road is the only way it’s found
Its walls are filled with names of the many who’ve thrown down
And of those who once got to wear the crown
The pit is a mystical landmark
It’s an open book with stories to tell
Many have graced its pages
Some rose up and the others just fell
There aint no laws at that old pit
They’ve been settling problems there for years
Mixing up mud and blood and spit
Flushing wounds with beers and tears
I remember my first visit to the pit
This bully was pickin’ on me and would not quit
I said meet me after school, we both knew where
When I arrived, half the school was there
Excitement filled the air, everybody chanted “FIGHT”
He threw a left, then crumbled from my right
The pit is a mystical landmark
It’s an open book with stories to tell
Many have graced its pages
Some rose up and the others just fell
There aint no laws at that old pit
They’ve been settling problems there for years
Mixing up mud and blood and spit
Flushing wounds with beers and tears
There’s not a lot to do where I come from
But that don’t mean we did not have our fun
When Friday night arrived we had a plan
We’d head out south of town in a minivan
We’d take a lot of beer and some whiskey and some rum
And party till the dark left for the sun
The pit is a mystical landmark
It’s an open book with stories to tell
Many have graced its pages
Some rose up and the others just fell
There aint no laws at that old pit
They’ve been settling problems there for years
Mixing up mud and blood and spit
Flushing wounds with beers and tears

Three Blind Mice
02:44
|
|||
There were three blind mice, or so the story goes
I was chillin’ one day on a stack of hay and now my story is told
The first blind mouse looked sad as he could be
I said what’s wrong with you little guy then he told his story to me
He said I don’t have a tail, and I’m blind as you can see
The farmer’s wife she done took a knife and cut my tail off me
The second blind mouse was fuming out the top
I said what’s the source of all your anger, and then he started to talk
He didn’t think twice about the cause of his condition
The evil one who would do such harm was standing in the kitchen
He said I don’t have a tail, and I’m blind as you can see
The farmer’s wife she done took a knife and cut my tail off me
The third blind mouse possessed an evil grin
I said hey man do you have a plan cuz it looks like you’re fixin’ to sin
He said I’ve got a plan, we’re gonna get revenge
We’re gonna chase that wife with our own damn knife until this story ends
He said I don’t have a tail, and I’m blind as you can see
The farmer’s wife she done took a knife and cut my tail off me
There were three blind mice, or so the story goes
Now I’ve been through it, aint much else to it so I guess my story’s been told

Lowered Expectations
03:33
|
|||
I’ve got a beef with the leaders of this nation
They’re always doing things to keep us down
Why can’t we seem to stop the infestation?
Of no-good, greedy, corporate sponsored clowns
I just want to make a steady livin’
Want the same for my family and friends
But the government keeps takin’ and not givin’
And it pisses me off to no end!
Lowered Expectations
That’s all they're giving to us
They disregard their obligations
Destroying every last ounce of trust
They’re dumbing down our future generation
They’re fighting useless, worthless, endless wars
With so many lowered expectations
They know that they can keep taking more
They take our guns so we don’t start a revolution
They beat us down for speaking our own mind
What’s the meaning of our Constitution?
And why are these people so unkind?
Lowered Expectations
That’s all they're giving to us
They disregard their obligations
Destroying every last ounce of trust
I think it’s time we change our expectations
Is it common sense or courage that we lack?
There’s millions of us feeling this frustration
I think it’s time we take our country back!
Lowered Expectations
That’s all they're giving to us
They disregard their obligations
Destroying every last ounce of trust

Ain't Too Hard To Find
04:08
|
|||
Lately I’ve been thinking
What’s the cause of all my drinking
Is there something I can do to put this bottle down
Then it hits me like a tornado
You’re playing me like play-dough
You’ve been running around with every damn guy in town
CHORUS
I’d rather be lonesome without you
Than with you having to doubt you
Your wandering eyes can’t ease my wondering mind
I’d rather be sorry that you left me
Than stay together while you wreck me
Because girls like you just aint too hard to find
I thought I could use some fixin’
So the doctor gave me a prescription
But it didn’t seem to take my pain away
A shrink told me I was an empath
I’d been victimized by your wrath
And to save myself there’s no way I can stay
I’d rather be lonesome without you
Than with you having to doubt you
Your wandering eyes can’t ease my wondering mind
I’d rather be sorry that you left me
Than stay together while you wreck me
Because girls like you just aint too hard to find
I’m flushing down the pills and the liquor
A heavy dose of no you will be quicker
To fixing my worries and pain you’ve put me through
It’s like I’m turning my truck down a new road
And I’ve just dumped off a big load
I won’t be towing that baggage that is you
I’d rather be lonesome without you
Than with you having to doubt you
Your wandering eyes can’t ease my wondering mind
I’d rather be sorry that you left me
Than stay together while you wreck me
Because girls like you just aint too hard to find

Court Room Blues
03:12
|
|||
Well here I sit again, in courtroom D
Just waiting on the judge to come and justify me
Don't want to hear the news
I've got the Court Room Blues
The judge is running late, anticipation is high
And I can hardly wait, and my mouth is getting dry
My feet are sweating in my shoes
I've got the Court Room Blues
The prosecuting attorney is gonna try to bring me down
It sure makes me worry, but I'm trying to hide my frown
I'm going to tell you the truth
I've got the Court Room Blues
I don't know all the laws, but I know I didn't do it
They say I've got probable cause, I hope the jury sees right through it
That jury is about to choose
I've got the Court Room Blues
Sure hope that I don't lose
I've got the Court Room Blues

Take Me Back
03:17
|
|||
There are some things I've said and done
And I wish that they could be undone
For all those times I mistreated you
You've packed your bags, prepared to leave me blue
Why don't you take me back before you go
Before you go, before you go
I need you more than ever, don't you know
So why don't you take me back before you go
Girl, you're the one I'm gonna miss
You're the one I simply can't resist
I had to tell you because I need you to know
Why don't you take me back before you go?
Why don't you take me back before you go
Before you go, before you go
I need you more than ever, don't you know
So why don't you take me back before you go
I just might change my point of view
I just may change the way that I treat you
No I won't lie and I won't be mean
It's times like now I never could foresee
Why don't you take me back before you go
Before you go, before you go
I need you more than ever, don't you know
So why don't you take me back before you go
Girl, just what is it you expect to find?
Another man may just not be as kind
As I have been almost every day
I make mistakes but you shouldn't run away
Why don't you take me back before you go
Before you go, before you go
I need you more than ever, don't you know
So why don't you take me back before you go

Busted Finger Blues
03:26
|

IT WAS THE 4TH DAY OF JULY, IN GOOD OLD CAROLINA
SOME FRIENDS CAME UP TO HELP LIGHT UP THE SKY
THE WIFE HAD COOKED SOME DINNER, KIDS PLAYED WITH A FIDGET SPINNER
WHILE WE WAITED FOR DAY TO LEAVE FOR THE NIGHT
AS THIS STORY UNFOLDS, THERE’S A LOT YOU MUST BE TOLD
SO I’LL DO MY BEST TO HELP KEEP YOU AMUSED
SO SIT BACK AND TAKE A DRINK, WHILE I TELL YOU WHAT I THINK
OF HOW I GOT THE BUSTED FINGER BLUES
I HAD SNUCK DOWN TO THE BASEMENT, WITH HAPPINESS IN MY POCKET
I WAS PLANNING ON LIGHTING ONE ON MY OWN
SO I HID BEHIND THE CURTAINS, SLID THAT GLASS DOOR OPEN
LOOKED AROUND AND MADE SURE I WAS ALONE
A CLOUD OF FRUSTRATIONS, HAD BLOWN UP TO THE SKY
I WAS READY TO MAKE SOME FIREWORKS DO THE SAME
BUT WHEN I TRIED TO SHUT THAT DOOR, IT JAMMED AND HERE’S WHAT’S MORE
I SLAMMED IT HARD BUT MY FINGER WASN’T GAME
I YELLED OUT ONCE OR TWICE, SOME WORDS THAT WERE NOT SO NICE
BLOOD SQUIRTING ON MY SHIRT AND SHORTS AND SHOES
MY FINGER THROBBED IN PAIN, AS I WONDERED QUITE IN VAIN
HOW I GAVE MYSELF THE BUSTED FINGER BLUES
EVEN WORSE THAN ALL THAT PAIN, WERE THOUGHTS RUNNING THROUGH MY BRAIN
I COULDN’T PLAY MY GUITAR FOR SEVERAL WEEKS
IT LEFT ME QUITE BEWILDERED, I WAS SUPPOSED TO OPEN FOR DAVID CHILDERS
THE NEXT MONTH AT OLE DALLAS BREWERY
IT’S SUCH A SORRY FEELING, TO WAIT FOR ALL THAT HEALING
TO PAY OFF ALL YOUR SELF-INFLICTED DUES
SO I LEAVE YOU THIS SUGGESTION, DON’T SHUT YOUR FINGERS IN DOORS
DON’T GIVE YOURSELF THE BUSTED FINGER BLUES
